StoneX analyst Craig Turner described the October WASDE as bearish versus expectations for soybeans and corn, with soybean ending stocks at 320 million bushels and corn at 1.5 billion. Wheat ending stocks were near the analyst average at 580 million bushels, and world wheat carryout fell by more than 3 million tonnes.
Turner set support levels for soybeans at $12.00 and $11.80 and for corn at $5.20 and $5.00.
Bearish ending-stocks numbers point to lower feed grain and soybean meal values, while the wheat tightness supports wheat as a feed alternative to corn.
