Argentina plans to raise soybean crushing to 43.8 million tons for April 2027 to March 2028, up 2 million tons. Soybean exports for the current season were raised to 5.7 million tons, with about 1.15 million tons expected to ship in October 2026, nearly all to China.
Higher Argentine crush and exports add to global soymeal and oil supply, which pressures meal prices, while strong Chinese demand for soybeans supports beans. Increased soybean imports from Paraguay to feed crushing also tighten the regional raw-material balance.
