ProAg reported that the August WASDE raised 2026/27 US corn production to 16.01 billion bushels on a 180.7 bu/ac yield, which is 2.3 bushels below July. Soybean production rose to 4.52 billion bushels, and wheat production and ending stocks were trimmed to 1.53 billion bushels and 717 million bushels.
The lower wheat supply tightens the wheat balance sheet and is supportive for wheat prices. The corn and soybean changes are mixed and offset each other, leaving limited net pressure on those markets.
