FACE published its November animal health update covering avian influenza and African swine fever in Europe. It reported 1,404 avian influenza outbreaks across 28 countries as of 18 November, with most in wild birds.
African swine fever wild boar cases in 2025 were led by Poland with 2,961 and Germany with 1,913.
Continued HPAI and ASF spread in Europe supports poultry and pork supply tightness and can shift export demand for feed grains and meals. Wild boar cases concentrated in Germany and Poland are a particular trade risk for pork.
