Russia extended its mineral fertilizer export quotas for shipments outside the Eurasian Economic Union from December 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027. The combined quota is set at more than 18.8 million tonnes, including over 11.3 million tonnes of nitrogen fertilizers and over 7.5 million tonnes of complex fertilizers; the current quota through November 30 is 20 million tonnes.
The continued quota limits the volume available to non-EAEU buyers, and the lower stated total than the current quota could tighten export supply. This may support international nitrogen and complex fertilizer prices.
