USDA announced flash sales of 315,000 tonnes of corn to Mexico, 136,000 tonnes to South Korea and 134,000 tonnes of soybeans to unknown destinations. Soybeans were down 10-11 cents, corn down 1-2 cents and wheat up 1-2 cents early Wednesday, with StoneX raising its US corn and soybean yield estimates.
New export sales to Mexico and South Korea support corn demand, while the StoneX yield increase is a bearish offset. Soybean weakness reflects harvest pressure and technical selling near the 200-day moving average.
