Argentina's export duty revenue rose in July to about 1.19 trillion pesos, up 35% from the previous month and 110% from May, according to RIA Consultores. The gain came despite lower rates in force, as heavy registration of agricultural exports lifted collections.
Export duties reached 5.2% of total tax revenue.
Higher duty receipts reflect strong registered export volumes, which points to firm flows of soy and grain products out of Argentina, though rate changes still shape farmer selling decisions. The effect on world prices is limited.
