Ghana's National Petroleum Authority has set the national diesel sulphur limit at 50 ppm, effective July 2017, pushing back an earlier April date. The NPA will still allow imports of ultra-low-sulphur diesel, as is permitted in Europe.
The change is a national fuel-quality rule for a single importing country. It has little effect on global diesel prices or feed ingredient markets.
After 157 past policy events, ULSD / Diesel moved a median +0.4% over 5 sessions (53% higher; middle half -4.4% to +3.3%), and -0.7% over 20.
