Green Markets, a Bloomberg service, announced expanded fertilizer price reporting for South America. The new coverage includes urea, UAN, DAP, TSP, SSP, phosphoric acid, phosphate rock and sulfur benchmarks.
The announcement itself reports no price move.
More transparent South American fertilizer benchmarks help buyers hedge and negotiate, though the release does not by itself move prices. Better regional pricing data may improve price discovery in Brazil and Argentina.
