Indonesia signed PMK 76/2021 on June 25, raising the progressive levy threshold from a CPO price of US$670 to US$750 per tonne, effective July 2. The levy ranges from US$55 to a maximum of US$175 per tonne while biodiesel funding is preserved.
A higher threshold means less levy on palm oil in the mid-price range, which reduces export costs and supports Indonesian export competitiveness and international palm oil prices.
