Ukrzaliznytsia moved 1.43 million tonnes of grain in the first 27 days of October 2026, with 915,500 tonnes shipped for export, up 26.1% from September but down 34% year on year. Vegetable oil shipments reached 112,700 tonnes and meal shipments about 211,000 tonnes, both lower than October 2025.
The railway expects export shipments of 1.1 to 1.2 million tonnes by month-end.
Rising rail export flows support Ukrainian grain and meal availability for world buyers, though volumes remain well below last year, which is mildly supportive for prices of exported feed ingredients.
