Agriculture and Food Canada raised its 2022-23 forecast for average canola prices by Can$30 to Can$910 per tonne, and non-durum wheat by Can$15 to Can$420 per tonne. The agency also raised its wheat export forecast by 200,000 tonnes to 18.5 million tonnes.
Higher Canadian export expectations support global wheat and canola prices, though logistics must still keep up with the forecast. Canada's wheat exports through November 13 were up 48%.
