Crude oil futures fell on Thursday morning, with December Brent at $114.19 (down 0.98%) and December WTI at $101.32 (down 1.42%). The decline followed reports that the US wants to revive peace talks with Iran.
MCX crude futures in India also traded lower.
Peace-talk hopes ease the Middle East risk premium on crude, which lowers energy and diesel costs for feed production and transport, and can weigh on biofuel-linked feedstock values.
