ABARES lifts lentils, field peas, other major pulses cut

ABARES made minor changes to Australia's chickpea, faba bean, field pea and lentil estimates but cut its lupin forecast 13% to 1.05 million tonnes. The total for the five major pulses fell slightly to 5.45 million tonnes.

WHY IT MATTERS

Lower pulse and lupin supplies have only a small effect on feed grain prices, as the total pulse change is minor.
