Canada Western Red Spring wheat rose to $289.54 per metric ton FOB Vancouver, its highest since June 2025, as US wheat futures rallied. The May WASDE showed US production down 425 million bushels and ending stocks cut 18% to 762 million bushels.
Winter wheat conditions also deteriorated.
Lower US stocks and a Canadian export price rally lift global wheat values, raising the cost of wheat used in feed rations. Buyers should expect firmer wheat prices in export markets.
