Wheat and corn futures fell on Covid concerns, while soybeans rose on dryness in South America. Argentina capped 2021-22 corn exports at 41.6 million tonnes and wheat exports at 12.5 million tonnes to curb domestic shortages and food inflation.
Argentina is the second-largest corn exporter and a key wheat supplier, so export caps tighten global availability and support corn and wheat prices, while dry South American weather supports soybeans.
