NEPCon released its Sourcing Hub, a database of forest-related risk assessments covering illegal timber risk in 62 countries and palm oil, soy and beef risk in 10 countries. It is designed to help companies meet due-diligence requirements such as the EU Timber Regulation.
This is a compliance and due-diligence tool rather than a supply shock. It may help buyers document legal sourcing of soy, palm oil and beef, with negligible near-term price impact.
