The dollar fell on Thursday as Treasury yields hit new lows and investors bet the Fed would cut rates by April. The dollar index was down 0.4% at 98.783, its weakest since February 12.
Money markets also priced a more than 80% chance of a 10 basis point ECB cut in July.
Expected Fed easing and a weaker dollar generally support dollar-priced commodities and US export competitiveness. Lower global rate expectations also reduce financing costs for feed and livestock supply chains.
