Indonesia's palm oil exports fell 35.6% in January 2020 to 2.39 million tonnes, according to GAPKI. Exports to China dropped 57%, or 381,000 tonnes.
GAPKI attributed the decline partly to importers holding stocks while awaiting the B30 biodiesel mandate.
Lower Indonesian export flows to China reduce global palm supply demand, though stocks held for B30 could support later buying.
