The Russian government is considering an export duty on sunflower oil of 15% or at least 135 EUR per ton. Ukrainian seaports shipped 820,000 tons of sunflower oil in November, up 170% from October.
A possible Russian duty would tighten global sunflower oil supply and support vegetable oil prices, but the measure is still under consideration.
