ABARES' September quarter crop report projects Australia's winter pulse production to be mixed. Chickpeas fall 41.5% to 621,000 t, lupins fall 26.9%, and faba beans fall 20.4%, while lentils rise to a record winter crop of 924,000 t.
Smaller Australian chickpea, lupin and faba bean crops tighten supply of pulse feed ingredients, while the record lentil crop partly offsets this; the net effect on feed prices is limited.
After 2,447 past report events, Wheat (SRW) moved a median +0.0% over 5 sessions (51% higher; middle half -1.5% to +1.8%), and +0.2% over 20.
