An Iowa Farm Bureau analysis of the February 2025 WASDE reports that U.S. wheat ending stocks fell 4 million bushels to 794 million and that Brazilian corn production was cut 1 million tons to 126 million. World soybean and wheat ending stocks for 2024/25 decreased by 3.5 and 1.26 million metric tons respectively.
The South American production cuts and lower world stocks support global grain prices. U.S. balance sheets were unchanged, so the effect on domestic feed costs is limited.
