The GEOGLAM Crop Monitor for AMIS reports that as of April 28, conditions are mixed for soybeans and favourable for wheat, maize and rice. Soybean conditions were hurt by earlier hot, dry weather in Brazil, northern Argentina and South Africa.
Mixed soybean conditions in South America support soybean and meal prices, while favourable wheat and maize conditions limit upside for those grains.
