GEOGLAM Crop Monitor for AMIS (No. 126, conditions as of March 28) reports mixed wheat conditions in the Northern Hemisphere as winter wheat breaks dormancy, and favourable conditions for maize, rice and soybeans. Maize and soybean areas with reduced yields are noted in Argentina, southern Brazil, northeast Brazil and South Africa.
Mixed wheat conditions in key Northern Hemisphere regions add modest upside risk to wheat, while favourable maize and soybean conditions limit supply concerns for feed grains and meals.
