The GEOGLAM Crop Monitor reports global crop conditions at end-November are overall positive for wheat, maize, rice and soybeans. Southeast Asian wet-season rice was hit by a strong southwest monsoon and tropical storms in some countries.
Broadly favourable crop conditions point to adequate supplies of feed grains and oilseeds, which tends to keep prices contained; localized rice losses in Southeast Asia are a minor upside risk.
