Staple grain shipments from Ukrainian seaports reached 1.02 million tonnes in the week of March 28 to April 3, up 21% week on week. Corn exports rose 54% to 796,000 tonnes, while barley shipments surged 77%.
Wheat exports fell by about half over the same period.
Ukrainian port flows set Black Sea export supply, and the wheat decline tightens near-term supply for importers. Rising corn and barley shipments add competing supply to global feed markets.
