Ukrainian seaports shipped 1.16 million tonnes of staple grains in the week of January 18 to 24, up 5% from the prior week. Wheat exports dropped 61% to 101,000 tonnes while corn rose 26% to 1.06 million tonnes, with Egypt, Turkey and the Netherlands the top importers.
The sharp wheat export drop reduces near-term Black Sea wheat supply, while the rise in corn shipments adds to export availability.
