China's soybean imports rose 19 percent year on year to 10.56 million tonnes in December, the highest monthly total since June 2021. Full-year 2022 imports fell 5.6 percent to 91.08 million tonnes, the second annual decline.
Restocking demand supports near-term soybean and soymeal prices, but weaker annual imports and soft feed consumption cap the longer-term outlook.
