The GEOGLAM Crop Monitor for August 2025 reports end-July global crop conditions as positive for maize, rice and soybeans and mixed for wheat. Concerns are noted in parts of Europe, MENA, North America and Central Asia for wheat, and in southeastern Europe, Russia and Ukraine for soybeans.
Generally favourable maize and soybean conditions point to ample supply, which tends to weigh on prices, while wheat stress in key exporting regions could provide some support.
