The GEOGLAM Crop Monitor for September 2025 reports global crop conditions at end-August as generally favourable for wheat, maize, rice and soybeans, with some concerns in southeastern Europe, Central America, Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Pakistan's Punjab flooding and parts of Russia and Ukraine. It also notes ENSO-neutral conditions with La Niña likely developing September to December.
Broadly favourable crop conditions point to adequate supplies, which is mildly bearish for feed grain and oilseed prices, while localized stress in Black Sea and European soy areas could add some support.
