IFFCO cut maximum retail prices of DAP by Rs 50 to Rs 1,200 per 50 kg bag and reduced NPK and NP complex fertilizer prices by up to Rs 50 per bag, effective October 11, 2019. The cooperative cited softening global prices of raw materials and manufactured fertilizers.
Lower Indian retail phosphate prices reflect softer global raw material costs, a mildly bearish signal for DAP demand and pricing pressure.
After 50 past bearish policy events, DAP moved a median +0.9% over 5 sessions (62% higher; middle half -0.1% to +1.6%), and +0.9% over 20.
