Sindirações, the Brazilian feed industry association, released its first forecast for 2026, projecting national animal feed output above 98 million tonnes, up 4.5% from 2025. Feed output rose 5.4% year on year in the first quarter to 22.6 million tonnes, led by poultry and pig production.
The association linked the growth to higher slaughter and strong exports.
Rising feed output means more demand for corn and soybean meal, the main feed ingredients, which supports domestic prices. Strong poultry and pork exports add to that demand.
After 1,040 past bullish report events, CORN moved a median +0.5% over 5 sessions (62% higher; middle half -0.9% to +2.0%), and +0.8% over 20.
After 414 past bullish report events, SBM moved a median -0.1% over 5 sessions (48% higher; middle half -2.1% to +2.3%), and +0.3% over 20.
