NASS reported that US soybean crush in September 2026 fell to 5.96 million tons from 6.29 million in August and 6.15 million a year earlier. Soybean crude oil output dropped 6% month on month, and refined oil output fell 5% from August, with canola crush roughly flat and cottonseed oil down sharply.
Lower crush means less soybean meal and oil supply, which is mildly supportive for soymeal and soyoil prices, though the figures are a routine monthly release with limited surprise.
