Brent crude fell about 6.5% on Monday on hopes for renewed US-Iran diplomacy, which pulled down correlated farm commodities. Investors pulled about $6.6 billion from agricultural futures last week, and US midterm elections are due on Tuesday.
Soybeans fell 1.3% to $12.18 a bushel.
Lower crude weakens biofuel and input-cost links for soy and corn, and risk-off flows from the elections add volatility to grain prices.
