IFFCO, India's largest fertilizer cooperative, said it has no plan to raise the maximum retail price of DAP and NPK fertilizers for the rabi season. The company acknowledged a sharp rise in international raw material costs, including phosphoric acid, but said it would absorb them.
The statement followed an update from the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
A domestic price freeze limits the pass-through of rising international phosphate costs in India, though import costs remain elevated and may pressure supply and margins.
After 151 past bullish policy events, DAP moved a median +0.0% over 5 sessions (50% higher; middle half -0.6% to +0.9%), and +1.9% over 20.
