The European Commission opened a public consultation on its free trade agreement with Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, with comments due by 8 April 2021. The agreement has been provisionally applied with Peru, Colombia and Ecuador since 2013 to 2017.
The consultation is a procedural step and does not change tariffs on Andean farm goods. Any later changes to access for Andean agricultural products would matter for their export flows but are not imminent.
