The DOE/EIA weekly retail diesel price fell 2.5 cents to $3.649 a gallon, its fourth consecutive weekly decline. Retail prices are catching up to earlier wholesale drops, while ULSD futures have traded in a range of roughly $2.22 to $2.26 a gallon.
Easing diesel prices lower the cost of moving feed ingredients and finished feed, which modestly reduces delivered feed costs.
After 86 past bearish report events, ULSD / Diesel moved a median -0.9% over 5 sessions (37% higher; middle half -4.3% to +0.9%), and +0.4% over 20.
