Australia's GRDC has launched a five-year Oat Grain Quality Consortium led by InterGrain and SARDI, funded with $5.75 million from GRDC and $6.7 million from partners. The project targets oat quality research and market positioning for growing domestic and export demand.
This is a long-term research investment with no near-term effect on supply or prices, so it has minimal implications for feed oat markets.
