The Grains Research and Development Corporation has launched a new wave of oat research investments targeting food and beverage demand. It expects global oat-based consumption to grow about 5% a year over the next five years.
This is longer-term research funding aimed at milling and food markets, so it has little effect on near-term feed oat supply or prices.
After 49 past policy events, OATS moved a median -1.1% over 5 sessions (39% higher; middle half -3.3% to +2.7%), and -2.0% over 20.
