The EIA reported a 9.4-cent weekly rise in the US average diesel price to $3.624 a gallon for the week of January 26, the second straight weekly gain. The increase follows a 7.1-cent rise the prior week.
These are the largest back-to-back gains since June 2025.
The data confirms a sustained diesel uptrend that will raise surcharges and transport costs for feed buyers. Continued increases would support the price floor for trucking and freight.
After 109 past bullish report events, DIESEL moved a median +0.2% over 5 sessions (51% higher; middle half -3.3% to +3.9%), and +0.3% over 20.
