Indonesia's crude palm oil reference price for 1-15 July 2023 was set at US$747.23/tonne, up about 3.3% from the prior period. The trade ministry set the export duty at US$18/tonne and the levy at US$75/tonne.
July exports were down 1.51% from June and 19.25% year on year.
Higher reference prices and export charges raise the cost of Indonesian palm oil exports, supporting palm oil prices and substitute oils.
