US soybean oil futures fell about 5% after an Iran ceasefire plan was reported. The article notes soyoil had climbed on weeks of Middle East conflict that spiked crude and choked off the Strait of Hormuz.
A ceasefire lowers crude expectations, reducing the biofuel price advantage that had supported soyoil and weakening the oil-linked demand case for soybean complex prices.
