Corn and Soybeans Fall on US Weather, Pause in US-Iran Strikes

Corn and soybean futures fell sharply after the US paused nearly two weeks of daily strikes against Iran, and crude oil dropped. Corn fell as much as 3.3%, its largest intraday decline since mid-January, and soybeans fell as much as 3.4%.

Soyoil also slipped.

Corn, soybeans and soyoil are key biofuel feedstocks, so they tend to track crude oil. Lower energy prices reduce biofuel margin support and pressure grain and oilseed prices.
