Western Canada's feed barley trades above C$200 per tonne, at C$208-210, while feed wheat is C$210-215. U.S. corn is being imported into southern Alberta and is competing with feed barley at current price levels.
Feed barley is now priced close to imported U.S. corn, so further rallies in corn would pull barley prices higher while a corn decline would cap them.
