A west German biodiesel producer has cut production indefinitely to half of capacity. The company cites cheap biodiesel imports from Argentina and Indonesia.
Cheap imports weigh on European biodiesel margins and reduce domestic rapeseed oil demand for biofuel use, which is bearish for vegetable oil feedstock. The effect is regional and limited in scale.
