Snow and wet weather in northern and central Alberta are expected to downgrade many crops and push more feed grains onto the market. Feed wheat fell from about $7 to $6.50 per bushel, though harvest discounts are smaller than usual.
Lower-grade crops add feed supply, but buyers are forced to purchase at premiums now, leaving the seasonal harvest price drop muted.
