Wet weather has stalled Prairie harvest, and early October snow is degrading wheat and barley left in fields, pushing more of it into the feed category. Alberta feed barley, feed wheat and corn were all around C$245 per tonne, with cheap US corn helping cap prices.
Expected larger feed grain supplies as crops are downgraded keep feed prices steady, and corn's price level caps how far feed wheat and barley can rise.
