Asia rice-waning demand prompts Indian, Thai exporters to lower prices

Asian rice export prices fell as weak demand and currency moves led Indian and Thai sellers to cut quotes. Thai 5% broken rice was quoted at US$396-417 a tonne, and Indian parboiled prices slipped further.
