The Trump administration proposed allowing oil refiners to blend more biofuels into gasoline and diesel next year. Soybean oil prices rose as much as 6.2%, their biggest jump since January 10.
Higher mandated biofuel blending lifts demand for soyoil as a biodiesel feedstock, supporting soyoil prices and pulling soybean crush economics higher.
