U.S. oil and biofuel groups jointly wrote to the incoming Trump administration asking the EPA to raise renewable fuel blending volumes for 2026 and beyond. They also asked for multi-year RFS standards to give the market certainty.

Higher biofuel mandates would increase demand for soybean oil and other feedstocks used in biomass-based diesel, supporting oilseed prices. The outcome depends on EPA rulemaking, so the price effect is still uncertain.
